<Foundation>
With the establishment of "the education licensing system related to Judo therapy" in 1951, several Judo therapist training schools including us were founded. In the pioneer days of Judo therapist training system, we were born as Judo Therapist Training Center of Tokyo Judo Bone Setter Association in 1953 based on a project for establishing facilities to train Judo therapy successors to commemorate the 40th anniversary of founding of Tokyo Judo Bone Setter Association.
In Oct. 1959, a new school building was built in Koishikawa, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo and we were renamed to "The College of Tokyo Judo Therapy in affiliation with Tokyo Judo Bone Setter Association." We turned out 2800 graduates during a period from 7th to 42nd college years, and they became excellent human resources in the society.

<Separation between Industry and Academy by Institutionalization of Educational Operation>
After that, needs to be an independent educational institution became prominent due to difficulties in school administration, and in 1969 we became independent of Tokyo Judo Bone Setter Association to restart under the name of The Collage of Tokyo Judo Therapy. Since then, with the purpose of training Judo therapy successors, we have cultivated the human resources who can contribute to the Judo therapy field.

<New History Made in Foundation of Tradition>
In 1985 when we received the 33rd-college-year students, we obtained a license as an academic juridical person specialized in training and education of Judo therapists and renamed to today's Kyobun College of Tokyo Judo Therapy. In 1987, we celebrated the 35th anniversary.
In 1994, we relocated the school building to Hikawadai, Nerima Ward to receive the 42nd-college-year freshmen.
In 1999 we established a clinical training facility first in the industry to promote clinical education toward cultivation of Judo therapists who can deal with patients clinically.
In June 2002, we celebrated the 50th anniversary with 3100 alumnus (up to the 47th-college-year students) and the current students (in the 48th to 50th college years) grandly. As part of the 50th anniversary memorial event, we acquired a permit to establish the day class, which was started in 2003. Then a morning class has started, changing the afternoon class "trainer course" in 2014 followed by the 60th anniversary. These triple sessions have been inaugurated to establish and diversify a timely education system so that we may be able to enhance our capability to cultivate competent Judo therapists.
