Credits and Graduation Approval
- School credits to be earned consist of 39 in the professional course, 32 in professional basic course and 14 in basic course specified by the educational guideline for Judo therapist training schools. Our college has specified as written on the right side hereof.
- The 85 credits in total shall be earned for graduation approval within 3 academic years. (A title of medical specialist will be given.) Also, the qualification to take national licensing examination will be granted.
- We have 3 academic years so that the students can effectively obtain skills and knowledge necessary for passing the national licensing examination and develop the personality proper for a qualified professional Judo therapist.
Notes
1 Students are not required to declare credits to earn annually.
2 Although same credits have been earned in other educational institution, they cannot be effective in our college.
3 It is a key to pass the national licensing examination to earn the credits specified for each academic year (separately listed) in the professional and professional basic courses. Therefore, if students have not earned any credits to advance to the next academic year, they must repeat the same year.
National licensing examination and license acquisition
- National licensing examination for Judo therapist qualification is conducted on the 1st Sunday of March every year.
- Students who passed the examination (result to be announced in the end of March) will be given "Judo therapist license" by Health, Labor and welfare Minister after submitting an application.
START LINE, after Obtaining Judo Therapist License
From the time you obtained the license onward, you must make a serious try (training) in the real world as an independent professional (nationally-qualified) engaged in the medical field.
Working for an orthopedic clinic for preparation to open your own clinic
If you want to open your own clinic and acquire experience as a Judo therapist, it is best to work for an orthopedic clinic. More than 4000 alumnus working nationwide will support you.

Working for medical institution to other medical field
It is an important method for self-improvement to learn about "medical tie-up (between a hospital and orthopedic clinic)" by undertaking work experience under the supervision of doctors of the Orthopedic Dept. of a hospital or an orthopedic clinic which requires Judo therapists.

Our college's instructor system and other intern system (with selection test required)
In our unique instructor system, we cultivate future instructors for Kyobun College to be responsible for the training facility, clinical study, sport training activities, caring support activities, overseas activities, etc.

Graduates' paths
Graduates who obtained the national license are authorized to open a Judo therapy clinic in accordance with Judo Therapist Law.
However, to act as a medical professional trusted by the society, they should have skills and judgment which can be obtained only through a wide range of expert knowledge and clinical training.
All graduates will further improve themselves by working for orthopedic clinics and other medical institutions toward realization of their future plan.
